I did have a very small leak of power steering fluid which you may see on my drive in the pictures, it`s not oil, it was just a loose connection on a hose which I have now had repaired at the astronomical cost of £20. I will throw in the remaining half bottle of steering fluid which I was using to top it up. Please take note - This truck is 18 years old and has covered 187,300 miles. Do not expect it to look and drive like a brand new truck. It does look extremely good after a wash as you can see in the pictures and it does in my opinion drive incredibly well for a vehicle of it`s age, but you know, just be sensible about your expectations. If you`ve never had a 4x4 before then bear in mind that this does not drive like a car, it weighs over 2 tonnes unladen and should be driven as such. I know the rules state I cannot offer a part exchange but if you have a little van or estate (must be diesel!) then maybe if you buy mine I can buy yours, but don`t offer any crap because this is a damn good vehicle and I have no intention of letting it go for pennies. I took this car in part exchange and have been using it daily for the last month or so, I put it in for a new MOT and it only needed the rear brake pads replacing and 2 new batteries fitting, these jobs were done at my local Isuzu dealer as was the MOT itself. It is a 1994 4x4 manual, can cope with any climate and weather conditions. It was used on a daily basic, very reliable although high mileage of 150000. Recent MOT in Dec 2011. It’s had two new batteries, new brake pipes and pads. It’s never over heated nor smoked, he has used it in the past for towing horse trailers, and collecting hay. Ive also lowered the "BUY-IT-NOW" grab it before the snow comes...Hi,I am sadly selling my incredible Isuzu Trooper, top of the range, Citation model. 3.1 TDi engine, much better engine than the 3.0 version (Hence why the 3.0 are cheaper and not so sought after). Only selling as I have recently moved, and there is no room on the drive for all our cars, so sadly this has to go. Its a 1995 4 x 4, manual, 3 different drive selections, so can cope with any climate, hill, weather combination. As you can see, it is in excellent condition, probably one of the best examples for the year I`ve seen. Yes, the drivers seat is worn, however there are many breakers selling interiors if that`s an issue. (Full leather interior I was quoted £80, exact replacement £65), but to be honest, its never been an issue for me or my family.The engine is awesome, low mileage, and genuine, less than 7000 per year! Pulls like a train, no smoke, will sit at 80 all day on the motorway. All old MOT`s many old service and parts receipts. Belts, Discs, Pads all done less than 3000 miles ago. Serviced it myself at Christmas. New MOT and 12 months tax at the same time. Has Front Fogs, Folding, heated mirrors, heated seats, MP3/CD player, front arm rests, twin electrics tow bar (with extension cables).has remote alarm/central locking both fobs and keys AND instruction manual all available!If you want to tow anything, this is the truck for you, If you want a really good workhorse, this is the one, if you want a damm good 4x4 for the forthcoming snow and ice, this is the one. Its also just had the newer facelift model grill fitted, its an absolute pleasure to drive and looks lovely. Dont be put off by the 3.5 petrol, i regular drive to london and for £110 of petrol it gets me 394 miles traveling at 85mph with cruise control on, and theres still some fuel left over. For the size of the car and the gadgets its got im really impressed with this. Its been a real trooper through the recent snow and ice, nothing has bothered it at all. 2008, with 105k miles on the clock, the trooper went into KT Green Ltd in Leeds and had a brand spanking new complete engine fitted, along with brand new turbo, clutch, flywheel, glowplugs, oil pumps, brake Pads and discs, brake pipes, fuel tank, rear shocks, exhaust including cat, egr valve, injectors. This bill alone cost more than £13000! It`s got 4 x new general grabber 2 tyres fitted in the last few months at nearly £600. In 2011 it had a new brake master cylinder fitted, and a new alternator aswell (£400 & £450 respectively). I have a large folder full of receipts to prove all the above. The jeep now has 145k on it, meaning it has only done 40k miles since the major overhaul was done. The interior is very tidy. It can either be a 5 seater or 2 seats can fold down in the rear converting it to a 7 seater. It has the usual refinements such as electric windows, cd changer etc. Bodywork wise, it`s in very good condition especially for its year. It`s just had a years mot put on it (expires Jan 19th 2013), and is taxed till Feb 2012. This jeep is a cracking motor and will do its new owner many years faithful service. Not so much a bad thing, but the fuel gauge reads low so when it gets to empty it actually has a couple of gallons left, just imagine it as having a really big reserve on the tank. Otherwise it works fine and the fuel light only comes on when the level actually really is low. The last MOT had only one advisory which was excess play in the steering, the former owner replaced the ball joints and this is no longer an issue. Please ignore the mud and dust inside, I`m a sparks working on very dirty sites and couldn`t help getting it grubby but it has now been cleaned.I did have a very small leak of power steering fluid which you may see on my drive in the pictures, it`s not oil, it was just a loose connection on a hose which I have now had repaired at the astronomical cost of £20. I will throw in the remaining half bottle of steering fluid which I was using to top it up. Please take note - This truck is 18 years old and has covered 187,300 miles. Do not expect it to look and drive like a brand new truck. It does look extremely good after a wash as you can see in the pictures and it does in my opinion drive incredibly well for a vehicle of it`s age, but you know, just be sensible about your expectations. If you`ve never had a 4x4 before then bear in mind that this does not drive like a car, it weighs over 2 tonnes unladen and should be driven as such. R wheel bearing and ball joints replaced just because there was a little movement in them probably would have been alright. Chrome A-bar and wheel hubs available if wanted. Good solid, simple, reliable, powerful truck. Pre 2000 so lower road tax. I have owned this truck for the past 8 months and done about 4,000 miles in it as a general run around, there is nothing wrong. Engine, gearbox, running gear ect. in very good condition. The only slight problems are cosmetic a bit of rust and a few dents. Flew through it`s last MOT. I am based on a farm and we have used ISUZU pickups for years, they are mechanically bullet proof, hence the reason I got this. But just to clarify it has not been used off road, it has merely been for running to the shops ect.. photographs. The Trooper has covered 105,000 miles and is MOT`d until June 23rd 2012 and I have just taxed it so it has nearly a full years tax. It has a good service history and a set of spare keys. I have recently had two new tyres fitted on the rear which are General Grabbers so not cheap ones! It has air-con, a towbar and Citation alloy wheels. This is a really good solid Trooper, all factory recalls have been done with documentation to prove. Only selling as my father has given me his Nissan Navara! Price is £2450 no VAT.
