done on the injectors at the main dealer. It also had a full service costing over £500 last year, lots of other bills and has been all over the uk towing brilliantly. It also has a Tachograph (fitted by previous owner) There is a problem that has developed since I returned from 2 months abroad, which I noticed this week after recharging the batteries and running for a few days, covering some 80 miles or so over the period. It is losing water, very slowly and when hot there is white smoke out of the exhaust more than there should be. There is no sign of water in the oil and the smoke is not evident at higher revs or when cold. It still runs and starts fine so I am baffled. I need a towing vehicle for long journeys for my job so cant risk ignoring it but I am not a mechanic so am not sure what to do. It is taxed and tested, in good overall condition though needs a valet inside(no rips) and can be driven away although I will not be using it whilst the listing is running. These are super vehicles, I would have another tomorrow and they pull better than previous rangerovers and nissan patrol. I strongly advise viewing (I live near Blackpool Lancashire) as this is a very nice car but please feel free to send a message or call me on 0781 795 2550 anytime - I have nothing to hide and good feedback which I value highly. I am not putting a reserve on it but will not give it away and reserve the right to remove as it is advertised elsewhere, however I am realistic and realize it needs something doing to it. on demand) transfer box which is an automatic 4wd control. The 4wd control consist of 2wd - 4wd TOD - 4wd low ratio and diff locks. Apparently this makes it very good off road, youtube the videos, i have never driven it on anything more then grass when there were no spaces in the carpark. The last owner lived in the city and the car originates from Japan so my guess is it never did much off roading in its life. condition of the car inside, outside and underneath strongly points to that as well. The car is mint, and I dont use that term loosely. Interior IT will seat 4 People with comfort, it doesnt look it but there is plenty of space. Everything works as it should, the air con is ice cold all the electronics work perfect including the factory fitted reversing camera, as per photo. Remote works as does stereo with amp, 12 cd changer and sat nav. Mechanics Engine purrs yet picks up like a motorbike when asked, not a hint of tiniest misfire, both on petrol as well as gas, in 2 words, runs perfect. No leaks of any sort and very clean under bonnet, this car was definetely well maintained through out his life. Gearbox, being automatic is very smooth no clonks or any untoward noises as are the transfer box and front and rear diffs. The brakes are equally as good, complemented by ABS. Body Work No marks any where and before christmas the car had a full polish and paint seal applied, giving very deep and shiny appearance. KYB remote shock, present and working, no leaks. History The original books are present as are some UK receipts and invoices. Within the last 4 months the car received a propper, high quality no expense spared LPG conversion with a smaller petrol tank, protected by 4mm steel plate and a 70L lpg tank. At the same time FULL service was performed which included - timing and serpentine belts - all tensioner pulleys - engine and gearbox filters - ALL fluids including brakes - Full interior valet, just to make it smell niceR as it was fairly clean to begin with. - Rear suspension spacers, front suspension adjustment and full 4x4 tracking Cost of all that was around £2200 Modifications - 2 inch lift - K&N filter, it sound perfect specially when Variable length manifold kicks in. Original box with the car. - roof mounted spot lights, they are integrated in to the lighting system. - xenons 55W - louder stereo with uprated speakers In August the car had new Yokohama 4x4 tyres fitted which look well on original 5 spoke wheels, which are also in very good condition. Over all the car drives as it should, has a very interesting design history which is why I bought it, it is an eye catcher and with no badges starts conversations wherever I go. Only for sale as a new member of the familly is coming and the boot is not big enough for 2 prams and shopping. I am forced to sell very much against my better judgement because my job has taken me a long way from home and this old girl just drinks far too much diesel to be driving 80 miles per day. I did have a very small leak of power steering fluid which you may see on my drive in the pictures, it`s not oil, it was just a loose connection on a hose which I have now had repaired at the astronomical cost of £20. I will throw in the remaining half bottle of steering fluid which I was using to top it up. Please take note - This truck is 18 years old and has covered 187,300 miles. Do not expect it to look and drive like a brand new truck. It does look extremely good after a wash as you can see in the pictures and it does in my opinion drive incredibly well for a vehicle of it`s age, but you know, just be sensible about your expectations. If you`ve never had a 4x4 before then bear in mind that this does not drive like a car, it weighs over 2 tonnes unladen and should be driven as such. I know the rules state I cannot offer a part exchange but if you have a little van or estate (must be diesel!) then maybe if you buy mine I can buy yours, but don`t offer any crap because this is a damn good vehicle and I have no intention of letting it go for pennies. HEATED REAR WINDOW HAS NEVER WORKED WHILE I`VE HAD IT AND ELECTRIC AERIAL HAS BEEN REMOVED, PROPERLY BLANKED OFF IN THE WING AND REPLACED WITH AN INTERNAL BOOSTER ONE. WHENEVER AN ITEM IS REMOVED IT IS REASSEMBLED WITH WAXOYL/COPPERSLIP OR GREASE - IN SHORT IT IS A CARED FOR 4X4. I EVEN REMOVE THE SPARE WHEEL CARRIER IN WINTER AND CARRY THE SPARE WHEEL INSIDE SO THAT I CAN KEEP THE REAR DOOR AND WIPER SALT AND GRIT FREE. NO ROT IN THE BACK ARCHES AND NOT A WELDED UP MESS UNDERNEATH -THE ONLY ADVISORY FOR THE LAST MOT WAS A STEERING COLUMN PINCH BOLT WHICHN NEEDED TIGHTENING UP - DONE IMMEDIATELY OF COURSE. IN ADDITION TO THEIR LEGENDARY RELIABILITY AND TOWING PROWESS ISUZU TROOPERS ARE RENOWNED FOR BEING ONE OF THE MOST ECONOMICAL 4WD YOU CAN BUY EVEN TO THIS DAY. 2008, with 105k miles on the clock, the trooper went into KT Green Ltd in Leeds and had a brand spanking new complete engine fitted, along with brand new turbo, clutch, flywheel, glowplugs, oil pumps, brake Pads and discs, brake pipes, fuel tank, rear shocks, exhaust including cat, egr valve, injectors. This bill alone cost more than £13000! It`s got 4 x new general grabber 2 tyres fitted in the last few months at nearly £600. In 2011 it had a new brake master cylinder fitted, and a new alternator aswell (£400 & £450 respectively). I have a large folder full of receipts to prove all the above. The jeep now has 145k on it, meaning it has only done 40k miles since the major overhaul was done. The interior is very tidy. It can either be a 5 seater or 2 seats can fold down in the rear converting it to a 7 seater. It has the usual refinements such as electric windows, cd changer etc. Bodywork wise, it`s in very good condition especially for its year. It`s just had a years mot put on it (expires Jan 19th 2013), and is taxed till Feb 2012. This jeep is a cracking motor and will do its new owner many years faithful service.
