The car has very low milage for its year and I have only done 25000 miles in the 5 years I have owned it. All tyres are excellent along with the new, never used, spare.The bodywork is in excellent condition for the year, it has the odd few stone chips on the bonnet but nothing you would really notice and there is not one spot of rust anywhere on the car. The interior is again immaculate. Never smoked in and no children!!! The back seats have never been sat on more that a handful of times. There are no stains, rips or tears. There are also expensive, quality over-mats on the floor.It also has electric heated seats and electric heated folding mirrors.I have every MOT and receipt for any work I have ever had done. lowdown.The VehiCROSS was originally unveiled as a concept vehicle at the 1993 Tokyo International Auto Show. Its ultimate Japanese production release in 1997 was notable in that the production vehicle arrived with very few design changes and in a very short time. This feat was accomplished through the use of inexpensive ceramic body-stamping dies and the reuse of readily-available Isuzu parts. The truck was intended to showcase Isuzu`s off-road technology, and is one of the few vehicles to ship with monotube shocks with external heat-expansion chambers, a technology normally reserved for off-road motorcycle racing.The VehiCROSS was highly regarded for its cross-terrain performance. It combined a computer-controlled AWD system for on-road driving and a locked-differential low-gear 4WD system for off-road driving however this Japanese version also offers a 2WD option. The TOD (torque on demand) system has 12 independent sensors for detecting wheel spin and is capable of redirecting power to the wheels with the most traction which gives the VehiCROSS a high level of traction on wet and icy roads. It also has a high level of performance for its height. pride and joy but she now needs a smaller vehicle as having to do a lot of short trips and I also have a Range Rover so do not require both vehicles. The Isuzu for its age is a fantastic motor and would certainly not be selling if did not need to. It is automatic with and overdrive button. All works fine including the four wheel drive with no noises at all. As this was an import it is very plush and slightly larger than the trooper. Having recaro seats and excellent fold up rear seats in the boot for converting to a 7 seater. These seats knock spots off the land rover discovery 7 seat version for comfort! I have changed the water pump due to bearings being warn and also renewed the glow plugs last winter. Being a Land Rover nut myself working on the Isuzu is actually loads nicer and very well designed hence the reluctant sale. All tyres have plenty of tread. You may notice the spare wheel cover missing this is because I am going to repair a crack in it this is the hard shell type that clips on. Please note that the picture does make it look mint and yes it is in very good order but does of the usual marks for a vehicle of this age. V6 is so much nicer to drive. It is much quieter, much smoother and no more costly to run. The difference is vast. The diesel Trooper in my opinion is very agricultural and slow. The v6 one sounds glorious and at 70mph is barely ticking over, hence the economy. This has been a well cared for Trooper and it shows :-) the bodywork is nice, with only a small patch on the bonnet shortly needing attention (its pictured) The tyres are nearly new on the back and the fronts have loads of tread left. Th BFG All Terrain tyres need no introduction, getting stuck in the winter wont be a worry!! The gearbox is smooth with no whines or crunches. There are no oil leaks or smoke. All the electrics work as they should. All in all its very good indeed. There are some age related marks here and there and although the interior is very clean with no rips or tears, this is not a new car, please bear this in mind. There looks to have been paint touched up here and there to keep her looking nice, but this is a good thing in my opinion. All too often we hear about original and never painted, usually this a way of glossing over the fact people are trying to sell worn out scrappers that need to be put in the crusher. Beware though...this is a four seater. I got home to find two seat belts in the back. I have 3 children...you can imagine my horror. I told my wife I could put an extra seat belt in but guess what? its not happening. So here it is on Ebay. I am gutted. I would hate someone else to get caught out like me. The car is situated in Jedburgh in the Scottish Borders and viewing is highly recommended.Any questions will be answered asap. Stupid ones will be ignored. You bid to buy not look. the clock - until last week!Car started overheating and had to stop after a leak occurred in the radiator. Got it back home with a couple of top ups and it is now on my drive and it is going to be sold.I bought the car in August 1999 with 50k on the clock from the guy who imported it in 1998 and it now has 173,200 with a wad of invoices and MOT`s verifying the mileage. As mentioned the car has been ultra reliable and done regular journeys to the south of France (900+) miles in one go.The car had a SWORN for 16 months until it was put back on the road in January this year. Since then it has done under two thousand miles as it is a second carmainly used for taking rubbish to the local dump.Bad points about the car, other than the radiator, is the central locking does not work all doors, rear offside electric window cannot be raised from the drivers switchalthough it can be lowered. Some rust appearing round one of the doors and the drivers seat is worn, electric aerial does not work.Good points - five good tyres, reliable runner, electrics fine, tow bar (never used by me). a custom made steel bumper to the front which sits alot higher than the standard one. the trooper has had a 2" lift, side exit exhaust, spot lights on roof, snorkel which will be refitted (snorkel is just made from drain pipe but does the job). A brand new clutch was fitted about 100miles ago. I have fitted a refirbished rear diff and extended the breather to under the bonnet out of the way of water, I am also throwing in the old diff which just needs a new pinion bearing. The trooper starts first time every time and has never let me down yet. there is a good service history on the vehicle including timing belt change. the insa turbo special track tyres with wheels will not be included in the sale but I will refit the standard alloy wheels with nearly new firestone allterrain tyres, I will be selling the insa turbo tyres separate. the trooper has a cracked windscreen and a bump on the passenger wing, there are a couple more dents down the passenger side but are not that bad for what it has been used for. the vehicle has been used for off road use but has always been kept clean afterwards as it has been used as a daily runner to and from work. if you have any more questions please feel free to contact me, any viewing welcome but please arrange a time with me first. contact james on 07540353272 thanks for looking. This is the equivalent of the VauxhalI Brava Crew Cab Pickup, just badged up as an Isuzu, it has a 2.5 Turbo Diesel ISUZU engine, which I have been reliably informed, is one of the best engines to date. It starts first time every time no matter what the weather, and does not leak any fluids. It is MOT until the 23rd June 2011, Taxed up until the end of December 2010. The Pickup comes with full service history, the book is all stamped up Two previous owners before me Also comes with 4 previous MOT`s and 1 current MOT Very low mileage having only covered 64,230 miles as of 02/09/2010 I have owned this pickup for over three years and it starts first time every time no matter what the weather, and does not leak any fluids. Normal everyday driving in 2 wheel drive and you can just change into 4 wheel drive Low or High Ratio whilst your driving It did me proud in the snow I have decided to sell as the original reason for owning it was to use for picking up all the materials I needed for doing up my new house. It`s great if you have kids as the booster seats go straight in the back and there is loads of room. Power Assisted Steering CD Player It currently has a private number plate on it, this will be removed and an appropriate age related 2002 number plate will be put on it. Recovered it to my yard minus the new rad and it drove off recovery truck. It has stood since christmas and two of the tyres have gone down. Brand new spare on back, boot liner and all usual toys. SPARES OR REPAIRS as will need towing on to trailer I suspect as battery now flat and no radiator fitted. I`m not a mechanic but guessing it might need head gasket doing. mirrors (retractable) Power steering Here we have a very tidy example of a Trooper. Its showing 61350 miles. The bodywork and interior are really good for the age, there are just a couple of very minor scuffs etc. The car starts first time every time and drives, but sounds rough on tickover. There is also signs of an oil leak. The car has just passed an MOT so, tyres, suspension, brakes, lights etc etc are all tip top. With a little bit of work this will make a lovely 4x4 for somebody.
